Armona the green island...

Armona Island is an island in the municipality of Olhão. The island is integrated in the Ria Formosa Natural Park. The connection to the city of Olhão is done by  a regular ferry several times per day. The island consists of beaches facing the Ria Formosa and beaches facing the sea. Cars do not circulate on the island. Water sports enthusiasts also find a good spot to practice on the island of Armona. On the island there are also several restaurants, beach holiday houses and even a camping site!
